The Harvest Moon is the first after the Autumn equinox. The coming fortnight is a time where we reap what we have sown in both the physical and spiritual sense. We are moving into the darker part of the year, the Yin energy is increasing, which enables us to retreat inwards, connect with our intuition and see what lies beneath. It’s a time of healing old patterns of behaviour and ancestral wounds and honouring those who have gone before us. This is a time for deep transformation and the lesson is detachment. So notice how all is in flux, allow the waters of Pisces to let you flow onwards on your journey without resistance.

As the Moon moves through the final degrees of Pisces in the Nakshatra of Uttara Bhadrapada, we come to the end of a chapter in our lives and prepare to shed what no longer serves. Out with the old system, pattern, habit and in with the new, improved way of doing things. This is a positive time for blessings to arrive in your personal life and synchronicities and chance events can occur based on you good deeds to date which can give you a sense of elevation to a higher plane of existence. Be mindful of the influence of Neptune here, which can be illusionary and notice if an offer is too good to be true, it probably is…

Uttara Bhadra is ruled by Saturn which is currently in Aquarius and concerns matters of the greater good in community and organization. This is aspected by Venus retrograde at the time of the full Moon and issues in relation to leaders, community and organizations are in question. It’s a time for diplomacy but negotiations will likely be challenged and fail in a spectacular way as Mars conjuncts Ketu on the 3rd October.  Similarly, having our own personal needs met is up for discussion in relationship and this is an opportunity to re-think how we manage to create a more balanced, fair system under which to operate.
