Flow Yoga is a dynamic and enjoyable form of yoga for strength- balance and flexibility. FEEL Better.. step into the flow..(active class for all levels)


Yin Yoga is a slow and deep form of practice which is ideal for everybody but particularly those with less ease in the joints. Yin Yoga nurtures the deep connective and myofascial tissues, so it is also ideal for athletes too. It works deeply into the organs addressing imbalances via stimulation of the meridians and permits the smooth flow of life-giving Chi in the practitioner. Yin practice is meditative and uses both pranayama and mindful techniques to ease stress and heal body and mind. Restorative yoga beautifully compliments Yin in its deeply restful and supportive action promoting relaxation and healing


I can only take small numbers at my Home Studio so booking is essential. Either book a course or contact me before a class to drop-in if there's room- you are welcome.

Diving into Winter and another round of yoga courses in store to turn up the tapas…..


Upcoming courses include the usual Hatha Flow on Wednesdays starting 8th November, there are two classes to choose from: 7-8:15PM & 8:30-9:45PM.


Flow Yoga classes are enjoyable dynamic alignment-based Hatha with a focus on breath and mindful practice. You will learn the intricacies of mindful yoga practice using balanced action to connect body and mind and explore a sense of joy and wonder in your own boundless potential.


There are a few places left on the last 2 weeks of Yoga for Health & Self Care Thursdays 6-7:15PM. This is a more rounded approach to yoga and looks at different aspects of being with a view to connecting, strengthening, releasing and restoring. This is a more gentle approach to practice than Hatha Flow and suited to most. The course includes plenty of Pranayama (breath control) and more focussed poses and body work to teach you self-care and therapeutic techniques to manage yourself and FEEL BETTER...

Your Body Needs You!!!!....so take a little “me” time and book yourself into Warrior Yoga courses during August at my new Home Studio on Knocknarea, five minutes from Sligo/ Strandhill…..


Upcoming courses for August include my usual take on mindful, alignment-based Hatha Flow style with oodles of therapeutics and self-care thrown-in and a new evening class on Thursdays from the 24th August @ 6-7:15pm- Yoga for Health & Self Care. The motto for this course is:

Relax & Restore-Restoratives & Yoga Nidra (Sleep Yoga): New 4 week course starts Sunday 18th June 2017 7:15-8:30 PM


This is a wonderful style of restorative yoga class ideal for those suffering from stress and exhaustion or for anyone who needs time to allow the body and mind to heal. This class is generally divided into two sections, one where we begin to develop new neural pathways via somatic techniques and undergo long, supported holds in restorative yoga poses, followed by a move into Yoga Nidra (sleep yoga)- a guided relaxation where we hover on the boundary between waking and dreaming, a place where we can optimise our potential to heal and rest. We use breath techniques as a tool to re-connect body and mind. This powerful class is suited to everybody.
