Saoirse’s Bio: Mindful-Dynamic-Play
Saoirse’s diverse practice has spanned over the last 20 years with experience in Hatha, Anusara, Yin, Mindfulness, Myofascial Release, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Nidra, Restoratives and Acroyoga. Her speciality primarily lies in mindful, alignment-based Vinyasa Flow, Anusara, Yin and Restoratives for health and wellbeing. She is a very interested in Pranayama. Her strong and dynamic Flow classes are injected with a sense of play and are suitable for any level of student in search of a physical challenge.
Saoirse has a particular interest in the biochemical feedback of yogic practices and how we can use this to maximise our potential and FEEL BETTER. This is evident in her classes and workshops which often entail a unique fusion of Yin, Restoratives and Yoga Nidra in addition to Flow. Saoirse also provides tuition in Hatha style yoga, particularly suited to beginners and anyone in mind of a slower-paced practice.
Saoirse is also one of the most experienced Kids Yoga teachers in the North-West and her natural exuberance & love of Acro Yoga and sense of fun provides an enjoyable environment for kids from the age of three, families and teens. Her Kids Yoga classes include movement, breath work, meditation/ mindfulness practice and relaxation.
Saoirse has a pet love for acrobatic style yoga practice which she injects into some of her classes, particularly classes for kids, teens and families. She has also taught trainee teachers in Ardnahoo Yoga School the fundamentals of Acroyoga.
Saoirse has been teaching since early 2013 and completed her Advanced 500 hour teacher training in Ardnahoo Yoga School, Mullagh, Dromahair, Leitrim in September 2016
